JerkFest Toronto 2025: Caribbean Food & Music Festival Returns August 8

Toronto, are you ready to turn up the heat? JerkFest Toronto is firing up the grill and the stage for another summer of sizzling food, dancehall rhythms, and community vibes. Mark your calendars: Friday, August 8 to Sunday, August 10, 2025, Centennial Park in Etobicoke is the place to be.

Whether you’re here for the mouthwatering jerk chicken, high-energy performances, or just the warm island spirit, JerkFest delivers a full-on Caribbean experience — no plane ticket required.

Music, Flavour, and Island Vibes

This year’s headliner lineup is already making waves. Valiant, the Jamaican dancehall superstar known for viral hits like “Dunce Cheque” and “Narcissistic”, kicks things off on Friday night. He’s racked up over 290 million views on YouTube — and now, he’s bringing that energy to Toronto.

Also performing is Agent Sasco (a.k.a. Assassin) — a veteran in the dancehall scene and collaborator to icons like Shaggy, Marcia Griffiths, Beres Hammond, and even Kendrick Lamar. His sets on Saturday and Sunday are guaranteed to get the crowd moving.

What Else Is Cooking?

If you’re more of a foodie, you won’t be left behind. JerkFest isn’t just about music — it’s a Caribbean culinary showcase.

Live cooking demos happen Saturday and Sunday at 1 PM, 3 PM, and 5 PM.
Talented chefs will walk you through the magic behind jerk spices and traditional recipes.

Kick Things Off on the Water

Want to start the festival early? On Thursday, August 7, JerkFest sets sail with a VIP Meet & Greet Boat Cruise aboard the River Gambler. Expect:

A cash bar and unmatched city views
A party-ready crowd
