Toronto Is About to Get a Lot Cooler with 21°C Temperatures
Toronto’s weather is about to change in a big way. After a stretch of hot summer temperatures, the city could see a 21°C swing over the next several days as cooler air moves into southern Ontario.
If you’ve been enjoying the heat, you may want to keep a jacket close by later this week.

Hot weather kicks off the week
The week starts with warm and humid conditions across Toronto.
Environment Canada expects daytime highs to reach the upper 20s, with humidex values making it feel even warmer. The hot weather won’t last long, though, as a cold front is expected to move through the region.
Cooler temperatures arrive by the weekend
By the end of the week, daytime highs could fall to around 18°C, creating a temperature difference of up to 21°Ccompared with the warmest day earlier in the week.
The cooler air will also bring more comfortable humidity levels. As a result, it could feel more like early fall than the middle of July.
Keep an eye on the forecast
Toronto’s weather can change quickly, especially during the summer.
If you’re planning patio dinners, beach trips, or outdoor events later this week, it’s worth checking the forecast before heading out. You may need sunscreen one day and a light sweater the next.
