Nintendo is raising prices across Canada starting August 2025, impacting Switch consoles, accessories, games, and even Amiibo figures. Due to market conditions, Nintendo of Canada is adjusting prices for a variety of its most popular products, including the Nintendo Switch, Switch OLED, Switch Lite, and Nintendo Switch Online memberships. The official price updates will be released on August 1, 2025.

The price changes, however, will not apply to the Nintendo Switch 2, which launched earlier in June 2025 at CA$630. As of now, Nintendo has not specified the exact increase, but customers can expect updated pricing to be published on Nintendo’s Canadian store page on August 1, 2025.
