At Least 11 People Injured in Stabbing at Michigan Walmart
A violent stabbing incident at a Walmart in Traverse City, Michigan, left at least 11 people wounded, six of whom are in critical condition. The attack occurred on Saturday afternoon around 4:45 p.m. when a 42-year-old man entered the store and used a folding knife to assault several individuals. Authorities quickly responded, and the suspect is now in custody.

According to the Grand Traverse County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect was subdued within minutes. A sheriff’s deputy and several store employees helped apprehend the man and assist the victims.
The victims’ ages have not been released. The extent of their injuries is still unclear.
Sheriff Michael Shea called it a random act of violence. He added, “Eleven is 11 too many, but thank God it wasn’t more.”
