Performances will include Chinese instruments such as the Pipa and Guzheng, along with dance numbers that combine Chinese classical and folk styles with Hip Hop.

Award-winning jugglers from China will also appear, while established singers will perform songs in both English and Chinese.

The event will be hosted by Tyrone Li on September 19, Aaron Madar on September 26, and Wing Cheung on both dates.

Pacific Mall describes the stage program as one of its hallmark annual cultural showcases, bringing together music, movement, and heritage in one public celebration.

Hands-On Activities and Photo Spots

Visitors can also head to the 1/F Centre Court for interactive cultural booths. These free activities are designed to let guests experience traditional arts rather than simply watch them.

Activities will include:

  • Dough art exhibitions and workshops
  • A lacquer fan DIY creation station
  • Interactive games with chances to win PC gift cards from Real Canadian Superstore and Loblaws
  • Moon and rabbit-themed photo installations at the North and South Entrances

Families and friends can take photos at the themed installations before trying their hand at traditional crafts and activities.

More Than 300 Prizes Up for Grabs

The celebration will extend beyond Pacific Mall through integrated media campaigns.

Visitors can follow event announcements, interactive content, behind-the-scenes features, and giveaways throughout the two-week initiative.

More than 300 prizes will be distributed during the campaign. The prizes will include supermarket gift cards, traditional mooncakes, cultural souvenirs, electronics, and other items.

Pacific Mall said the event is made possible through the support of its corporate sponsors.

The sponsors include Real Canadian Superstore and Loblaws as title sponsors, TFI Foods Ltd, HKMX Mooncakes, and Kruger as event sponsors, as well as TD Bank, OLG, Axcellent Communications, Wukong Education, and Cotti Coffee as season sponsors.
