Xbox Cloud Gaming continues to improve with new features designed to make cloud play more seamless. These changes reflect Microsoft’s push to deliver a more flexible and user-friendly cloud gaming experience across devices.

Cloud Save Sync Now Shows When and Where You Last Played

One of the most requested features is now live on Xbox Cloud Gaming. Players can now see when and where their cloud save was last synced. A progress bar has also been added to show syncing in real time, reducing confusion and preventing data loss when switching devices.

This update is especially helpful for players who use multiple platforms, like console, PC, and mobile.

“Stream Your Own Game” Library Grows Again

Xbox Cloud Gaming has also expanded its “Stream Your Own Game” feature, allowing more owned titles to be streamed from the cloud. Initially launched with 50 games, the library now includes over 200 titles, with new ones added regularly.

Latest additions include:

Coming Soon: Stream from the Xbox PC App

Microsoft plans to roll out “Stream Your Own Game” support in the Xbox PC app later in 2025. The company is also working on integrating more third-party PC stores into the Xbox ecosystem to make it easier for players to manage all their games in one place.
